Many of you have asked about the raincoat. This one in particular is from
freepeople.com. I’ll have video all about foldable/packable gear in a few
weeks.
Take note people! If you are going to an amusement park, take these items
with you.
#Travel tips! Travel tips!! @soniastravels has so many great how to videos!
check out her latest one! #packing #KIN http://ow.ly/Ctdbw
In addition to everything Sonia mentioned, always keep a map of the park
with you, and a compass handy. Pack those things because you could get
lost, and getting the right directions is not always guaranteed.
I swear I looked up online for DISNEYLAND that you wern’t allowed to bring
food in period. So next time i’m bringin’ some snacks!
where did you get you rain jacket?
Packable rain jacket, never thought of that. I will pack that the next time
I go to an amusement park, thanks.
I love that, even though you’ve traveled to fabulous places all over the
world, you still love WDW! Thanks for all the fabulous travel advice. I
look forward to it every week!
1. You are absolutely allowed to take snacks and drinks with you and there
are plenty of water fountains to re-fill them. If you ask at any of the
counter-service (not table service) food locations they will also provide a
cup of water free of charge.
2. If you are a gum addict take it with you, it will not be sold anywhere
on Disney property.
3. If you stay in a Disney hotel remember that they can send any of your
park purchases back to your hotel for you. That way you can get all your
shopping done without having to carry bags with you all day.
4. Show your kids the employee name tags. There are a whole lot of
different costumes for employees but the name tags will be the same for
everyone. Teach small kids to look for the nearest person with a Disney
name tag if they get lost or need help.
5. Write your phone number on your child. It sounds very weird but I met a
parent who wrote her cell phone number across her little boy’s stomach. She
told him when he got lost he should just find the nearest person with a
Disney name tag and show them his belly. Writing on an arm could also work
or a wrist band.
6. Take sunglasses. Florida is bright.
7. Take ear plugs if you have small children. There’s a very good chance
young children will fall asleep at some point and if you want to stay in
the parks rather than going back to a hotel room then ear plugs will help
them make the most of a nap in a stroller.
*I know not all of the tips relate to packing but hopefully some of them
are useful.
Oh, and here’s a super useful Disney item – an external battery pack for
your phone (or a spare battery if your phone has swappable batteries).
Disney’s new My Disney Experience app for managing Fastpass and other
schedule items eats most phone batteries for breakfast, especially if you
also use it to check ride wait times and locations of characters and
whatnot.
I love you!! Your enthusiasm is awesome. Thanks for the videos…
Good tips! I do love that guy’s look when he turned around and saw the
camera!
Awesome tips, SOnia – we are currently on our round the world trip and
making daily vlogs – please check them out, SOnia
I’ll also need to bring my Glock so I can shoot myself after about the 3rd
hour….
I have had yearly passes for 20 years….I live close to the park. Litle
known fact,,,Disney will let you bring food and snacks in…they dont
encourage it but liability concerning people with diabetes is they reason
they allow it…;)………..Food and Wine Fest is on now at EPCOT

Love this! Where is your packable rain coat from?

out and subscribe to support! Thanks! 🙂
Oh my god I finally know who you look like. Sandra bullock loool
So useful advices! But just one cuestion… where did you get your packable
rain jacket? Love your videos! Saludos from Mexico. 🙂
Bottle of water? You could buy it… but still, I’d say keep it next to the
snacks :D
On the umbrella: Please don’t open them in the middle of massive moving
crowds. I literally had to replace my eyeglasses after a Disney trip
because some assbag scratched mine when he slammed his umbrella into my
face while we were leaving an afternoon parade area.
Do you have a link to the rain coat?
Is that a fjallraven? I would love a review!!
